| Winery Notes: The 2005 growing season was near perfect! A cool spring followed by a long warm summer with sunny days and cool nights. The grapes were the most beautiful we have seen to date. The 2005 Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit was sourced from Gunselman Bench, McKinley Springs and Phinny Hill vineyards. It was aged in 75% new French and 25% American oak for 24 months. The alcohol by volume is 14%. It was bottled January 17, 2008. |
