2005 Ambullneo Vineyards Pinot Noir Canis Major
The 2005 Pinot Noir Canis Major is a blend of fruit from both northern and southern California. The two biggest components are the Solomon Hills Vineyard in the Santa Maria Valley and the Hyde Vineyard in Carneros. A deep ruby/purple hue is accompanied by sweet raspberry, pepper, and earthy notes. It is a fleshy, medium to full-bodied, spicy, long, fruity Pinot to drink over the next 4-5 years.

|Winery Notes Our other two pinots have more time in the barrel before we select 'the best of the best' for blending the wine we categorize as out shining star. As always, this is the wine that combines all the superior aspects of our northern and southern programs and blends them for harmony, structure for a long-lived creation that is truly greater than the sum of its parts. It is by nature, extremely limited.|
