2008 Abeja Cabernet Sauvignon:
Blended with 7% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, and 1% Cabernet Franc, and – absent the fruit of Red Mountain Vineyard – sourced from the same locations as its chronological successor, the Abeja 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon, like the 2009, does not betray its 60% new wood in any obvious way. The same cassis and juniper are here accented with bitter huckleberry, cedar, and humus; and the overall impression is sappier and even more persistent. This should perform handsomely for at least another half dozen years. Drink 2012-2018. by David Schildknecht, Issue #204, December 2012 --The Wine Advocate

ABEJA Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley 200*:
Distinctly savory, with a meaty, herbal character to the modest berry and spice flavors, riding through the finish against refined tannins. Drink now through 2015. 2,482 cases made. by Harvey Steiman, October 15, 2011 --Wine Spectator

Abeja 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon (Columbia Valley (WA)):
This is labeled as Cabernet but is a Bordeaux-style blend that includes small percentages of Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. At the moment the wine is not especially expressive. There are hints of peppery herb in the nose, lightly ripe red fruits, and a pleasing, buttery finish. by Paul Gregutt — (12/15/2011) — 88 --Wine Enthusiast
